New 42Networks CPE - DRG 400

42Networks, a Stockholm based provider of FTTH and broadband telephony products and services, is announcing general availability of a new CPE series (Customer Premises Equipment), DRG 400 (Digital Residential Gateways).

DRG 400 is a robust CPE customized for rack/cabinet mounting, suitable for Central Office and enterprise environments. DRG 400 corresponds in functionality to the DRG 500 product line, but encased in a robust metal casing which provides a new range of mounting and deployment alternatives, and is better suited for certain market segments. Some of the DRG 400 feature highlights are:

• Rack-mountable
• 100M/1G auto-sensing
• Worl-leading VoIP implementation
• Stackable and possible to daisy-chain

All 42Networks DRGs are remotely manageable by HDD (Home Device Director), the automated 42Networks software solution for provisioning, configuration and CPE management.
