Fiber Termination Unit (FTU)

42Networks' Fiber Termination Unit (FTU) is designed for fast and robust fiber installation in FTTH environments.

The FTU can be used as a stand-alone product, together with the Media Converter for Cable TV (MCC) and/or together with the DRG 540, 560 and 580 series Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) units.

When using the FTU together with the DRG 540, 560 or 580 series, the installation process can be done fast due to our unique 'Click-On' concept. No patch cables, special tools or screws are required for the CPE installation and it is made so easy that end users can do it themselves. In this way it is only required for the installer to do one visit at the end user even when the the passive and active equipment are not installed at the same time.
