Management Systems

Making services, such as IP-telephony, video on demand and Internet, available for thousands or, even millions, of end users requiring flexible service provisioning.

It becomes practically impossible to provision and control CPE's in network environments with large numbers of subscribers with multiple services and multiple service providers. For this reason, all 42Networks products are designed for remote management.

Quality of Service and Alarm handling

It is also important to receive alarms and Quality of Service information from a CPE, as it is the service hand-over point from operator and service provider to the customer. When offering first line telephony and other real time services, the best way to quarantee the service level is to measure the actual traffic leaving and entering the CPE.

Integration with existing management systems or stand-alone CPE manager

Our products can be managed either via open interfaces, such us SNMP, DHCP options, configuration files, WEB GUI,  or via proprietary CDSP protocol. This enables integration with basically any existing Network or Element Management System.
The ultimate Management System for 42Networks products is HDD (Home Device Director). HDD enables automated provisioning and service configuration as well as alarm handling. HDD can be used as a stand-alone product or integrated with Network Management Systems via open API interfaces.
